  • Join us for this enriching course, where the enduring legacies of Stanislav Grof and Richard Tarnas are brought to life through meaningful application to your personal journey, professional practice, and work with clients.

  • Zoom meetings will be Thursdays 4pm-6:30pm PT alternating most weeks with Saturdays 9am-2pm PT. Please keep an eye on the Zoom dates within the chapters or use the course calendar for dates

Prerequisites: The Way of the Psychonaut Volume One and completion of, or enrollment in, Volume Two

  • Every two weeks you will have video, readings, and the opportunity to learn and discuss during 2.5 hour and 5 hour zoom sessions. Natal charts will be reviewed for understanding and application.

  • Elective Course

    For those in the breathwork stream this is your required elective. Dual certificants may take this course as well. It is also open to our alumni.

Our Instructor

Matthew has offered professional astrological support to breathwork practitioners and psychedelic explorers for 30 years. In the 1990s he attended the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where he completed an M.A. degree in consciousness studies. He first studied with, and then worked as a teaching assistant for, both Rick Tarnas and Stan Grof in their graduate seminars on Archetypal Astrology and Transpersonal Psychology between 1995-2012. He was also fortunate to co-teach with both of them on many occasions. Matthew became a certified facilitator of Holotropic Breathwork in 1998, and then lead regular breathwork workshops between 1998-2017. He worked as a Grof Transpersonal Training staff member, facilitating at training retreats, offering astrology readings to participants, and teaching the astrology module internationally from 2000-2012. He currently lives with his wife and son in Santa Marta, Colombia.
